Description
N Scale (1:160) Victorian Railways Tait T & G Car Dummy Chassis.
Used for T/G cars that are not required to be powered by a TomyTec TM-05R powered chassis. This chassis slots straight in to the T and G Cars.
Tait trains were initially referred to as "Sliding Door" trains, as opposed to the Swing Door trains then in service. From the 1950s, they became known as Reds or Red Rattlers, following the introduction of the blue-painted Harris trains.
This model will require a Tait T Car body & MicroTrains 1017 bogies with attached couplers to complete.
